Within Washington State there are more than 16,000 registered sex offenders and there are more than 60 registered sex offenders that are within the external boundaries of the Lummi Indian Reservation. The information provided within this website is intended only to inform the community. Harassment or other unlawful acts towards any sex offender will not be tolerated. The release of this information is allowed per RCW 4.24.550 and the Washington State Supreme Court decision in State vs. Ward. These codes authorize the Lummi Police Department to release and inform the public of: 1) A sex offender released into Lummi's jurisdiction 2) Individuals who have been convicted of sex offenses that require registration with the local sheriff's office 3) Previous criminal history places him/her in a classification level which reflects the potential to re-offend.
